Hull Artists 4th Regional Juried Art Show – Call For Art

Eligibility
• Open to artists residing in Hull and the surrounding region who can drop off and pick up
their work in person.
• Hull Artists Members receive:
▪ Discounted entry fee.
▪ Reduced commission rate.
▪ Membership details at HullArtists.com/Join
▪ Membership valid if it expires July 1, 2025, or later (Email: info@hullartists.com for
inquiries).
 Artwork Requirements
▪ Must be original, completed within the past 4 years, and not created in a classroom
or workshop with instructor input.
▪ Should not have been exhibited at a Hull Artists Juried Show before.
▪ Must be wall-hangable: includes drawings, paintings, fiber arts, photography, mixed
media, or other 2D media.
Entry Process
➢ Deadline: Monday, April 21, by 11:59 PM.
• Submit via [EntryThingy.com](https://www.entrythingy.com) under **HA’s 4th Annual
Regional Juried Show**:
▪ Register for a free account.
▪ Upload artwork images in JPG/JPEG format (500 KB–8 MB; minimum 900 pixels on
shortest side).
▪ Only include the artwork in uploaded images—exclude mats and frames.
• Artwork must:
▪ Be original, available for sale, and match the submitted image.
▪ Cannot be substituted or withdrawn after acceptance.
Entry Fees & Commission
• Fees for Non-Members: $15 for 1 entry, $30 for 2, $40 for 3, $55 for 4, $70 for 5, $80 for 6.
• Fees for Members: $10 for 1 entry, $20 for 2, $25 for 3, $35 for 4, $45 for 5, $50 for 6.
• Payments are made via PayPal or credit card on EntryThingy.com.
• Commission on sold artwork:
▪ **Members**: 70% to the artist, 30% to HA.
▪ **Non-Members**: 60% to the artist, 40% to HA.
Promotion & Sales
• Promoted via HA’s website, social media, emails, and articles.
• Buyers contact Lara Williams (larawilliamsfineart@gmail.com or 617-448-0764) to
purchase and arrange payment at Gallery Nantasket.)
• Artists receive payment via mailed check: 70% for Members, 60% for Non-Members.
• Buyers are encouraged to leave purchased pieces in the show but can take them upon
request.
Artwork Presentation
• Art and photos must be properly framed or gallery-wrapped with wire hangers (No clip-
on frames or sawtooth hangers).
• Non-framed mediums, like metal or glass prints, are acceptable.
• Attach HA labels (provided after acceptance) to the side and back with:
▪ Artist’s name, phone number, title, and price.
• HA may reject unsuitable artwork.
Juried Selection & Key Dates
• Juror will determine accepted pieces and awards (Juror TBA).
• Notifications: Accepted artwork will be announced via email and on the HA website on
Monday, April 28.
• Accepted pieces must be delivered in person to Nantasket Beach Resort on Thursday,
May 15, 9:00–10:00 AM.
• Unsold artwork will be picked up on Thursday, June 19, 9:00–10:00 AM.
Opening Reception
• Date: Wednesday, May 21, 5:30–7:30 PM.
• Location: Nantasket Beach Resort Pavilion.
Liability
• HA takes care when handling artwork but is not responsible for loss or damage,
including venue-related incidents.
