Reception: May 11, 2025, 1:00 – 4:00 pm
In celebration of its 40th anniversary, and the expansive vision of monotype and monoprint artists throughout the United States, the Monotype Guild of New England (MGNE) will hold its Sixth National Juried Exhibition at the Art Complex Museum.
The juror, Karen Kunc, is an internationally-known artist, teacher, and curator who will put together a superlative show that will present the nation’s best monotype and monoprint art.
The exhibit will celebrate the very best of the unique print in all its myriad and modern forms, from works on paper, to sculpture and mixed media, ranging in size from intimate to larger-scale installations.
“We are so thrilled to be returning to the Art Complex Museum during this, our 40th Anniversary year,” says president Rebecca Leopoldina Torres. “This exceptional gathering of work deserves to be shown in a space where it can be fully enjoyed.”
Founded in 1985 by a small group of New England artists, MGNE now has a national membership of more than 300 artists and has curated over 100 exhibitions.
