DESCRIPTION:2025 Festival of the Arts\nArt in the Barn\n\n\n\n\nThe 48th Annual Festival of the Arts will be held on Memorial Day weekend\, May 24 and 25\, 2025\, from 10am. to 5pm. \nDeadline for Registration: May 5\, 2025 at 11:45PM \nCalling all artists! Do you have unsold artwork or extra prints piling up? Turn them into an opportunity at Art in the Barn! This special bin-style sale takes place during our Annual Festival of the Arts on Saturday\, May 25\, and Sunday\, May 26\, from 10 AM to 5 PM daily. It’s the perfect chance to showcase and sell your work to festival-goers. Don’t miss out—register today! \n  \nRegistration is easy and open to all NRAS members\, join today! Artists are allowed 20 pieces and should be dropped off during designated drop off dates.  \n\n\nArtists may submit up to 20 pieces of work – framed or unframed.\n$25 entry fee\nA label MUST be placed on the back of each piece stating: title\, name\, price and corresponding item # on your inventory form.\nFor each piece sold\, members will receive 70%\nCommission check will be mailed to the artist as soon after the Festival as possible.\nArtwork drop off is May 10\, 10am-12pm OR May 12\, 6-8pm.\nArtwork pick up dates (unsold work) Saturday May 31\, 10am-12pm OR Monday June 2\, 6-8pm.\n\n\nRequirements: \n\n\nMust be a NRAS Member\nUp to 20 pieces of original artwork or prints\nProvide an inventory list of your work using the document HERE. (Can be dropped off with work at drop off dates)\nMust provide your own bin. Ideally wooden\, wicker\, metal\, or other nice bins. Plastic bins are OK but please no laundry baskets. Remember that the presentation of your work will be beneficial to sales. We recommend using cardboard dividers or plastic sleeves for works that may scratch or smudge.\nMust drop off your work during designated drop off dates and work must be picked up on designated pick up dates. Due to space constraints\, a limited number of Artisans will be accepted. Previous participation does not guarantee a booth space in this year’s show.  \nApplication Fee Due upon application entry: $25 (please note we have decided to reduce the application fee this year and instead add the difference to the booth fee so you are paying less to apply) \nNote: Application Fee is non-refundable. Booth Fee will be charged upon acceptance; unaccepted applicants will not be charged booth fees. \nBooth Fee Due upon acceptance into Festival: $205 Members/ $275 Nonmembers\nYou can join or renew your membership at NorthRiverArts.org/Join. Booth sites will be assigned upon acceptance to the Juried Artisans Show. Each space is 10 feet by 10 feet\, set up on grass. Artisans must supply and set up their own tents with weights\, tables\, chairs and displays. Displays may be left overnight if secured under a tent. NRAS is not responsible for loss or damage. Street parking available or parking and shuttle buses from Eames Way School. \nBooth Set-Up: Friday 5/23 12pm – 5pm and/or Saturday 5/24 beginning at 7:30am. Note that the Festival opens to the public at 10am. The Festival closes at 5pm on Sunday 5/26. DESCRIPTION:On display now in Frame Centers Showroom Feature Gallery\, artist Susan Lefevre presents her abstract collection.  A varied assemblage of artwork inspired by Nature and the Elements\, Susans unique pieces enthrall the senses with her palette.  Working on what she calls “Plastic Paper”\, her work on transparent plexiglass creates a unique depth within her work by manipulating both sides of her material\, allowing for layering that isn’t possible with other traditional bases.  These will be on display until April 4th.  If you’d like to know more about her please see our in store books that we have readily available in for all our featured artists or online through the Community section at FrameCenter.com

Each participant will receive a 4×4 canvas on which they can create their own masterpiece. You’re free to use any medium or materials you choose. \nTo get started\, pick up your canvas at the library starting February 1 (while supplies last) and return your completed artwork by February 28. Artworks will be on display throughout the month of March\, with an artists’ reception on March 12. Pick up your artwork starting April 1. \nAn Art Reception will be held on Wednesday\, March 12\, 5:30-7:00PM. Refreshments will be served.
