JoAnne Chittick

Cohasset artist JoAnne Chittick paints in both watercolor and oil. Her watercolors include landscapes and architecture, and she is known for her commissioned watercolor house portraits; with oils, she paints landscapes, interiors, and still life.

A native of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, JoAnne majored in English literature at Smith College and worked at Houghton Mifflin Company in educational publishing for many years. She is an Artist Member of the Copley Society of Art, a Signature Member of the New England Watercolor Society, a Gallery Artist of the South Shore Art Center and the Cambridge Art Association. She has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions throughout the South Shore, Cape Cod, and in Boston.
