Children’s Book Illustrator Brian Lies will have works on display at the Helen Bumpus Gallery, inside the Duxbury Free Library, from the beginning of May till the end of June.  Brian’s been a Children’s Book Illustrator for over 30 years who specialize in Animals as stand ins for humans, meaning he places a variety of different animals living their lives as we do.  To quote Brian, “To me, these creatures are our best selves—despite obvious differences, they all live together in peace, in communities that echo ours, but are oddly their own.”.  So if you get the chance please stop in and see Brians work.
