Jacob Geiger

Jacob was born in New Haven, CT. He grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and lived in San Francisco, California before moving to the Boston area in 2019. He has a BS in Computer Science & Mathematics from Yale University as well as an MFA in Photography from MassArt.

As a freelance software developer and educator at UMASS Lowell and MIT teaching photography, he has been working with us for the past two years developing and maintaining our website. As a photographer, he takes photos over the span of weeks and months, letting the direction and scope of the project become clear to him as he shoots with his Fuji GW690 and Canon 5Dsr DSLR. His most recent project “Vessel and Sun Blindness” is shown at our gallery until June 8th.

“Glad to have Jacob’s technical support, creativity, and knowledge in developing software and complex codes.” – Claude

“The folks at Frame Center are so kind, professional, and invested in the local community of artists. There’s something special about seeing the change in how a picture occupies space going from a print go to the frame. Especially with Dina’s meticulous work on the mats and frame selection, I feel like my photographs have been given a final form that I can be proud of.”
