Plymouth Center for the Arts invites artists to participate in a unique, themed exhibit highlighting abstract art. Artists are encouraged to experiment with their imagination and push artistic boundaries by exploring alternative or even accidental elements of an image.
Artists may submit their original abstract artwork in the following types:
• Non-representational – Artwork does not attempt to represent a realistic representation.
• Indeterminate – Artwork has recognizable,
but obviously distorted images.
This is an open, non-juried show.
Plymouth Center for the Arts Exhibiting Membership is NOT required.
Categories: Painting, photography, drawing, printmaking, pastel, mixed-media, fine crafts & sculpture.
Awards:
First Place, $100 and ribbon
2nd Place, $50 and ribbon
Honorable Mention with ribbon
General Information and Important Dates –
Online registration – Jan 15 – Feb 12, 2025 via Smarter Entry only: https://www.smarterentry.com/callsforentry/plymouthguild/
- $15 for first entry, $10 for second entry. (2 maximum per artist).
- Refunds for entry fees will not be issued.
Dropoff – Sun, Feb 16, 4 – 6 pm and Mon, Feb 17, 8 – 10 am
- This is a non-juried show. Please deliver all pre-registered artwork during the designated drop off periods. Because all registered artwork is considered accepted, artists will NOT be notified of acceptance.
- If you are unable to drop off during these periods, Click Here prior to the above dates, to request an alternative date/time.
- Refunds or credits for future shows will not be issued for artwork that is not dropped off.
