Duxbury Art Association
The Duxbury Art Association (DAA) is a longstanding arts organization dedicated to supporting local artists and providing the South Shore community with access to visual arts, exhibitions, education, and cultural events. Founded in 1917, DAA offers artists opportunities to exhibit their work, connect with fellow artists, and engage with the broader creative community.
DAA presents a variety of exhibitions and art events throughout the year, including its annual Winter Juried Show, Art by the Bay Members Show, Craft Showcase & Sale, and other themed exhibitions. Exhibition opportunities may be open exclusively to members or to artists more broadly, depending on the specific show.
Artists may have opportunities to participate through:
- Member exhibitions for current DAA members
- Juried exhibitions that may be open to both members and non-members
- Craft and fine-art events throughout the year
- Themed exhibitions presented through DAA galleries and partner venues
- Virtual gallery and promotional opportunities associated with select exhibitions
Artists interested in participating should review the current exhibition prospectuses for eligibility, submission requirements, deadlines, fees, and exhibition details. DAA membership can provide additional opportunities to exhibit and participate in the organization’s programs.
