Hull Artists Open Juried Photography
Hull Artists Association presents a non-themed, open juried photography exhibition at the Nantasket Beach Resort. All photographers are welcome; HA membership is not required (members receive discounted fees and commissions).
Membership must be valid through Nov. 18, 2026.
Key Dates
- Online Submission Deadline: Sept. 11, 11:59 PM
- Notifications: Sept. 16 (email + HA website)
- Drop-Off: Oct. 8, 9–11 AM (Nantasket Beach Resort, 45 Hull Shore Dr.)
- Opening & Awards Reception: Oct. 13, 6–8 PM (Resort Pavilion)
- Pick-Up: Nov. 19, 9–11 AM

- Black & White / Monochrome: Includes grayscale, sepia, cyan, brown, etc.
- Color Photography Awards (per category)
- 1st: $100
- 2nd: $75
- 3rd: $50
- Honorable Mentions: Ribbons

Entry Guidelines
Bobbi Lane (website: BobbiLane.com)
- Submit via EntryThingy.com (“Hull Artists Open Juried Photography Show”).
- Up to 6 entries; max 2 accepted per artist
- Specify Color or Black & White and the print medium (paper, canvas, metal, glass, etc.).
- Maximum hanging dimension: 41 inches on the longest side. Entry Fees
- Members: $20 first entry; +$10 each additional (1 for $20, 2 for $30, … 6 for $70)
- Non-Members: $25 first entry; +$10 each additional (1 for $25, 2 for $35, … 6 for $75)
Payment is by credit card or PayPal on EntryThingy. Commission on Sales
- Members: 70% artist / 30% HA
- Non-Members: 60% artist / 40% HA Artwork Requirements
- Must be original and based on the artist’s own photograph.
- Editing in Photoshop/Lightroom allowed.
- No AI-generated images, stock images, or clip art (in whole or part).
- Created within the past 3 years (2024-26).
- Not previously shown in a Hull Artists juried show.
- PG/family-friendly content.
- Properly framed with wire hangers (no clip-on or sawtooth).
- Metal, glass, and gallery-wrapped canvas prints accepted w/o frames.
- HA may reject work unsuitable for display.
Sales & Payment
Buyers will contact Bart Blumberg, BartBlumbergPhotography@gmail.com, 781-789-3208. Payment handled at Gallery Nantasket (cash, check, credit card). Artist checks mailed within 30 days after show closing. Buyers may leave purchased work in the show or take it immediately.
Liability
• HA handles artwork with care but is not responsible for loss or damage, including venue- related incidents.
