Join us in celebration of Now Is Then by Sage Belber, on display March 7 – April 2 at the Dolphin Gallery, located in the Hingham Library. Opening Reception: Thursday, March 12th, 5:30-7:00 pm

Artist Statement: 

Now becomes then, moments become memories, but in the moment: the weight of emotions, the dynamics of our relationships to others, and the places we inhabit hold such solidity, it’s hard to realize we are forever falling into the past and slipping into the future.

As these moments pass by, I catch the now with meditation and focus, my interpretation solidifies in oil paint on canvas, and is delivered to future viewers: a moment in time and its timelessness.
