The Art of Jaynia Matherwiez: Soft Horizons: Paintings of Sea and Sky

On Display from September 6 to October 2

About the Artist

Growing up on the Massachusetts coast instilled in Jaynia Matherwiez a lifelong appreciation for the water, a theme that deeply resonates in her abstract seascapes. Following a career in educational publishing and web design, Jaynia rediscovered her artistic drive in 2022. Her paintings, often created with palette knives and brushes, utilize a rich spectrum of blues and greens to evoke the ocean’s spirit. Beyond seascapes, she also explores intuitive abstract and mixed media pieces. Connect with Jaynia and view more of her art on Instagram.
