Growing up on the Massachusetts coast instilled in Jaynia Matherwiez a lifelong appreciation for the water, a theme that deeply resonates in her abstract seascapes. Following a career in educational publishing and web design, Jaynia rediscovered her artistic drive in 2022. Her paintings, often created with palette knives and brushes, utilize a rich spectrum of blues and greens to evoke the ocean’s spirit.
