My art gives me the pleasure of engaging with life, and more deeply, understanding myself and others. My “arting” extends to all the aspects of my life.

What’s the story behind your work?
The story is what presents itself to me and the potential viewer, the mediums used provide the enhancement.
What do you hope people will feel when they see it?
I would hope a person would find something within themselves that stirs an unexpected feeling or thought.
How does your work create community or bring people together?
I would say my work connects to people and the community when I share it in public spaces (including FB and Instagram) in galleries or my home.
Who helped you along the way?
Many have helped me. Other great artists with whom I have taken workshops, artist friends, currently my artist mentor, Bernd Haussmann with whom I work with weekly and the helpful and fun crew at the Frame Center of Hanover.
How do you give back/support others?
I give back by having my work be seen and shared with others.
